In the automotive industry, metal components are usually impregnated under vacuum to ensure complete sealing – a time–consuming and costly process, especially for large components. With our capillary–active sealers, however, impregnation is also possible without a vacuum. Thanks to flexibly selectable application methods, both complete and partial sealing can be implemented easily and efficiently.
Due to the casting process, castings always have a certain residual porosity and sometimes also micro–cracks.
